On March 26, join the webinar “How to Make a Biodiversity COP Matter”, the first event in the Armenia-Quebec Talk series on the Road to COP17, organized by the AUA Acopian Center for the Environment and SNAP Québec.
This first webinar will bring together Armenian and Canadian partners to share lessons learned from COP15 Montréal and the ambitions for making COP17 in Yerevan a defining moment for biodiversity. Speakers will share their perspectives on transformative, innovative, and effective approaches for COP17 Yerevan.
“How to Make a Biodiversity COP Meaningful” will feature:
- Hon. Steven Guilbeault, former Minister of the Environment and Climate Change of Canada, and co-host of COP15 in Montreal
- Alice de Swarte, Strategic Advisor, SNAP Québec
- Aram Meymaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia
The webinar will be moderated by Alen Gasparian Amirkhanian, director, AUA Acopian Center for the Environment.
