Quebec 2044 is a series of news dreamed up by SNAP Québec that transports us to a future where transformative changes made it possible to overcome major societal challenges and restore biodiversity.

At the intersection of science, futurology, and creativity, these stories do not seek to predict the future. Rather, they propose plausible and desirable futures to help us reflect on the choices we make today.

Each short story is accompanied by an article that explains the theoretical foundations behind the scenario and presents concrete courses of action to help make it a reality.
